My challenge this year: read only books I find at home, then once I'm done, I'll visit my relatives' (edit: and the library) stash of books ! I'll have plenty of choice! I should be able to reach 25.

craft & how-to books
- The Well-Trained Mind (2004, Wise-Bauer & Bauer)
- *The Creative Habit (T. Tharp, 2005)
- *Le guide des secrétaires et assistantes de A à Z (2006, Bazin & Brazilliard) - A book about assistants' job; very useful to figure out a way to be organized in my paperwork and research!
- *Making it all work (2008, David Allen)
- *Focus - The power of targeted thinking (2008, Jurgen Wolff) - French title: Concentrez-vous sur l'essentiel! Le secret de l'efficacité: very interesting and useful for the ones starting (and spreading themselves) on many projects and having a hard time to finish them... like me!!!Verdict: some parts are very interesting and others, well, read here and there, been there, done that. It touches most of the parts of my problems and it is simply written. The tone, for me, was very motivating. Overall, I liked it.
- *Japanese Women Don’t Get Old or Fat (N. Moriyama & W. Doyle)- japanese recipes and personal stories.
- *200 braids to twist, knot, loop, or weave by Jacqui Carey - Very technical, easy to understand (pics are great!), very informative and stimulates creativity.
- *Cute Dolls (Aranzi Aronzo)
- One book about a local craft of hand weaving written in French
Audio books (they don't count but, when my hands are busy...)
Put back in the "read later" pile- *Reading Like a Writer (Francine Prose) (I had to put it down... too scholar for me, for now; she talks about books I haven't read yet; I'm lost! I'll keep it in my pile to read... later!
*well.. these ones were borrowed from the library.
My writing goals & progress - a French written blog
