Stevens, Chevy, Still Missing July 6, 2010.

I read this book in one day. Two things: it's not that short of a book, and I'm not that quick of a reader.

Things I can give away without a spoiler alert, that are even on the jacket. A realtor is kidnapped in broad daylight from the very last house she will show for that day. She is held for one year in a place so remote it makes her rescue ironical. Monstrous things happen to her in this place. Things we think: "My GOD I'd never survive that." We whisper, "No way."

You will be long haunted by the characters in the book. Just make sure, and I'm NOT kidding, that you leave a light on. And if you have a pet, keep it close by.
