Incredibly interesting and informative.
Factual and dry almost to a fault - I picked up a lot of facts but relatively little 'feel' for the Romani way of life. Understandable in its role as a textbook and source of information but a touch disappointing from my POV.
That said, the factual information is excellent both in and of itself and as background to help weed the real deal out of more fanciful accounts, and the recommend bibliography on its own is worth its weight.
Lots of ideas and information, and overall a good read. ~~~~~~Signature's Off~~~~~~
