What's everyone reading this week? I'm currently reading Shadow Puppets by Orson Scott Card and Coyote by Allen Steele. They are both pretty good so far and i would recommend them. What is everyone else reading.

I'm rereading The Mote in God's Eye by Niven and Pournelle. Sort of a comfort read.

I haven't read that since I was a kid. My brother and I used to pass it back and forth. I remember we both loved it.

I messed up. I finished a book without having another one started. I find it SOOO difficult to begin or end a book so I like to have a few opened at one time.

I started David Eddings' book DOMES OF FIRE.
I've never read a C.J. Cherryh book so I got The Faded Sun: Kutath.
And I got the first two books of The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher: Storm Front and Fool Moon.

I'm currently making a summer reading list. Part of me wants to read history. Part of me wants to read heavy fantasy. A small part of me wants to read a few good but simple mysteries. And then a tiny bit of me wants to read romance since I've only read 3 romance books ever.

I'm trying to learn Spanish so I've been reading Latin American short stories. I'm reading a penguin collection right now with Allende, Cortazar and Carlos Fuentes in it. It's so different from the fantasy/science fiction/young adult that I usually read that it's revitalizing, and often science fiction like, just because it is from a different culture than my own.

To very different writers with a lot to learn from them.

Currently reading a sappy romance called "Married by Mistake".. a little cliche and transparent but hey, it was free and every now and then I like just a mindless read. BUT Once I finish that I get to read the new Mary Higgins Clark "I'll Walk Alone".. really looking forward to losing myself in an author that always rocks!

I just finished Deltora Quest 2: The Isle of Illusion. Though not the best of this amazing series it means I can now say that I have finally completed the Deltora Quest series which spans fifteen books divided in three parts. One of my favorite series indeed!
