I'm starting the year by rereading one of my favorites, Women Who Run with the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés. This will make the third time I've read it, but each reading is an opportunity to learn something new about myself. I use it in my writing and my poetry.
1. Women Who Run with the Wolves~ Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
I liked it. I really enjoyed her world building. I've never read any of the Valdemar series, but I was able to understand everything. I also like her idea of what Heralds are. It's original. I hope she continues the series too. I'm going to try to find a copy of "Reserved for the Cat." It sounds like a retelling of Puss in Boots somehow.
